This Payments, eGift Cards, and Pricing Policy (“Policy”) explains how pricing, payments, eGift cards, promotions, and related billing practices work for services purchased through Dawnbreaker Health (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Policy applies to purchases made through dawnbreakerhealth.com and related checkout links we provide.
If you have questions about billing, please contact us at: contact@dawnbreakerhealth.com or 503-664-7007.
1) Pricing and What You See at Checkout
- Prices are shown at checkout. The price displayed during checkout is the amount you will be asked to pay for that specific purchase, unless otherwise stated.
- Prices may change over time. We may update prices periodically. Price changes generally apply to future purchases, not to services already paid for.
- What may or may not be included. Unless explicitly stated, prices do not include third-party costs such as labs, imaging, outside referrals, pharmacy/medication costs, or other services provided by third parties.
- Taxes (if applicable). If any taxes or similar charges apply, they will be displayed at checkout.
2) Payment Timing and Authorization
- Payment is typically required before services are rendered. In most cases, we collect payment at checkout before providing the service associated with the purchase.
- Payment authorization. By entering payment information and completing checkout, you authorize us (and/or our payment processor) to charge your selected payment method for the total shown at checkout.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may pause, reschedule, or cancel the associated service until payment is successfully completed.
3) eGift Cards, Prepaid Credits, and Promotions
Dawnbreaker Health may offer eGift cards and other promotions (such as discount codes) from time to time. These options are intended to provide a cost-saving way to pay for eligible services. They are not memberships and do not create recurring subscription charges.
A) What an eGift card is
- An eGift card is a prepaid credit with a stored balance that can be applied toward eligible Dawnbreaker Health services offered through our checkout links.
- eGift cards may be sold at a discount from face value as part of a promotional offer (for example, you may pay less than the face-value credit you receive). Any such discount will be shown at purchase.
B) Delivery and safeguarding
- eGift cards are typically delivered electronically (for example, by email) to the purchaser and/or the designated recipient.
- Treat eGift card codes like cash. If an eGift card code is lost, stolen, forwarded to the wrong person, or used by someone else, we may not be able to replace it.
- If you believe an eGift card was delivered incorrectly or accessed without authorization, contact us promptly at contact@dawnbreakerhealth.com so we can investigate and, where possible, help limit misuse.
C) Redemption and applying your balance
- eGift cards may be redeemed through the checkout process where the eGift card option is presented.
- If a purchase total is less than the eGift card balance, the remaining balance may be available for future eligible purchases.
- If a purchase total is more than the eGift card balance, you may be required to pay the difference using another payment method.
- eGift cards typically cannot be applied to third-party costs such as labs, imaging, pharmacy/medications, or services billed by third parties, unless explicitly stated at checkout.
D) Eligibility, availability, and clinical appropriateness
- Redeeming an eGift card does not guarantee that any particular service will be clinically appropriate for you. All care is subject to an individualized clinical evaluation and provider discretion.
- Appointments and services are subject to scheduling availability.
E) No subscriptions or automatic renewal
- Purchasing or using an eGift card does not enroll you in a subscription and does not create recurring charges.
- We do not auto-renew eGift cards.
F) Promotional codes and discounts
- Discount codes, promos, and other offers may have specific terms (such as eligibility rules, expiration dates, usage limits, or non-combinability). Those terms will be shown at the time the promotion is offered or at checkout.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time, subject to applicable law and any terms disclosed at the time of purchase.
G) Expiration and fees
- We do not intend to impose dormancy, service, or inactivity fees on eGift cards.
- If any expiration rules or fees apply (or if laws require specific handling), we will comply with applicable law and disclose any such terms at purchase.
H) Cash value and transfers
- eGift cards are generally not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.
- We may allow transfers in limited cases, but we may also restrict transfers or resales to prevent fraud and misuse.
4) Fraud Prevention, Misuse, and Order Limits
We aim to keep our pricing and promotional programs fair and sustainable. We may take reasonable steps to prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of eGift cards and promotional offers.
Examples of conduct that may trigger limits or restrictions include:
- suspected fraud or unauthorized use,
- bulk purchases intended for resale,
- attempts to circumvent eligibility rules, usage limits, or checkout restrictions,
- chargeback activity tied to eGift card purchases, or
- patterns that appear abusive or inconsistent with the intended purpose of the offer.
If we reasonably believe an eGift card purchase or redemption involves fraud or misuse, we may, where permitted by law:
- refuse the transaction,
- cancel or suspend the eGift card,
- disable a code that is the subject of a valid dispute or suspected unauthorized activity, and/or
- require additional verification before completing an order.
5) Appointment Cancellations, Late Cancellations, and No-Shows
- Current policy (for now): We do not currently charge additional fees for late cancellations or no-shows.
- We may change this in the future: We reserve the right to introduce or update cancellation/no-show fees with advance notice by updating this Policy and/or displaying the change at checkout.
If you prepaid for a service you did not receive
If you prepaid for a visit or service and it was not provided (for example, you canceled, rescheduled, or missed the appointment), we may offer:
- a credit toward a rescheduled appointment (including restoring value to an eGift card balance where applicable), and/or
- a refund, depending on the circumstances and subject to reasonable limits to prevent repeated misuse.
6) Refunds, Credits, and Billing Corrections
- Billing questions/errors. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact contact@dawnbreakerhealth.com within 30 days of the charge so we can review and correct any errors where appropriate.
- Refund method and timing. Approved refunds are typically returned to the original payment method. Banks/payment providers may take several business days to post refunds.
eGift card purchases
- Generally final sale. To the extent permitted by law, eGift card purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered, because they represent prepaid stored value.
- Exceptions. We may make exceptions in limited situations (for example, duplicate orders, clear technical errors, or where required by law), at our discretion and after verification.
7) Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you have a billing concern, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks can take weeks to resolve and may result in:
- interruption of services, and/or
- suspension or invalidation of an eGift card balance that is the subject of the dispute, until the dispute is resolved.
If a chargeback is resolved in our favor, we may reinstate access where appropriate. If a chargeback is resolved against us, the related transaction may be canceled and any associated eGift card value may be reduced accordingly.
8) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Changes will apply going forward from the effective date of the updated Policy.
